Taylor Cook drives the #21 Open Wheel Modified Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at East Lincoln Speedway and Cherokee Super Speedway.  He lives in Stanley, NC.

Team members helping Taylor are:  Vern Stottlemyer.  Jerry Cook is the car owner.

Taylor started racing in 2006 in the Go Karts Class at Millbridge Speedway as the 3rd generation in family racing.  His first win was that same year.  He started in the OWM in '09 with his first win in '10 at Friendship Speedway.  Career highlights include Top Secret Winter Series Concord NC winner Fall, Gold Season Champion at Millbridge Speedway, Mooresville NC Summer Series, Gold Season Champion 127 Speedway at Taylorsville, NC.

The thrill of racing for Taylor is winning and competing.  His most exciting racing moment was being able to race like his Dad and Grandfather and Uncle did.  He's most proud of being able to carry on the family tradition.

Taylor's racing hero is his Dad, Jerry Cook.  Best thing watching his race!

Of racing, Taylor says, "It's not all fun and games, it's a lot of work too! But...you probably won't make money".

His favorite racing websites are any and all!
