Scott Ledford

Scott Ledford drives the #27A Street Stock Class car.  He lives in Gastonia, NC.  His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunder Valley Speedway.

He started racing in 1986 in the Street Stock Class at Carolina Speedway for the fun of it and the competition.  His first win was in 1988 in the Street Stock Class at Carolina Speedway. 

The thrill of racing for Scott is winning and running good.  His most exciting racing moment was when the top came off the first night he won.  He's most proud of the people around him.

Scott's racing hero is Joe Robinson.

Of racing, Scott says, "Stay away unless you have a lot of money and help!!".
