Charles Klutte drives the #29 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lancaster Speedway.  He lives in Salisbury, NC.

Charles started racing in '84 in the Go Karts Class at Tryo, NC because his Father raced in the '70's.  His first win was in 2001 in the Thunder & Lightning Class at Carolina Speedway.  Career highlights include 7 Championships in Go Karts at 4 different tracks in 6 different classes. 

The thrill of racing for Charles is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win in his first race and seeing his son race Go Karts.  He's most proud of the people he's met.

Charles's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Charles says, "It's addicting!".
