Gordon
#409
Scott Gordon drives the #409 NDRA Crate
Class car. His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be
found racing at I-77 Speedway. He lives in Gastonia, NC.
Team members helping Scott are:
Margaret Gordon, Rick Gordon, Jeff Reep, Eddie Joe Huffstetter, Wayne
Pendleton. The Gordon Family are the car owners.
Scott started racing in 2005 in the
Crate Late Model Class because he always went to the races and watched,
so his Dad bought him a 2003 GRT and they started! His first win
was in '05 in the Crate Late Model at Lancaster Speedway. Career
highlights include winning at Lancaster Speedway, Carolina Speedway and
Thunder Valley Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Scott is the
competition and having fun with family. His most exciting racing
moment was probably leading at Lowes Motor Speedway until something
broke in driveline. He's most proud of having his 88 year old
Grandmother at every race.
Scott's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt
Sr.
Of racing, Scott says, "It's fun, time
consuming and expensive but I love it!".
