Josh Wright drives the #49 IMCA Modified Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at East Lincoln Speedway.  He lives in Mooresville, NC.  People who have helped Josh are:  Jerry Wright (car owner), Doug Dragoo, Todd Powers, Richard Merrit, George Eisenour, Monty Gice, and Detrick Bollinger.

Josh started racing in 1996 in the Yard Kart Class at Sikeston Raceway after his Grandpa got him a Go-Kart.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include winning 7 races in his Rookie Year in a Stock 4. 

The thrill of racing for Josh is winning.  His most exciting racing moment was winning from the rear at East Lincoln in a Super Stock V8.  He's most proud of winning at about anywhere he goes.

Josh's racing hero is Mark Martin.
