David Scott drives the #65 Super Stock 4 Class car.  He lives in Blythewood, SC.  His home track is I-77 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Carolina Speedway.

He started racing in 1997 in the Stock 4 Class at Lancaster Speedway because he'd lived near track, went once and fell in love.  His first win was in 1997 in t he Stock 4 Class at I-77 Speedway.  Career highlights include taking out the leader in his first win, coming from the rear to win.

The thrill of racing for David is winning!  His first win was the most exciting racing moment for him.

 David’s racing has always been a team effort.  The team, known at “Team 65” consists of family and friends that formed MacD Racing Partners in 2004.  Crew Chief Greg Murphy’s brother-in-law, Mark MacDougal, joined Team 65 with sponsorship and ultimately, ownership.  In 2005 Team 65 will field three cars, two for David, which will run at Carolina Speedway and I-77 Speedway and one for Greg at I-77 Speedway.

David thanks his primary sponsors, Master Tire & Auto Centers, Royal Purple Racing Oils, Hobgood Motorsports and especially, Country Omelet.  David and the team can always be found, enjoying a late night breakfast, on Friday and Saturday nights after the races with many other race teams and fans.  Country Omelet is truly the place for Breakfast with Champions.
