Mike Bates drives the #6 Stock 4 Class car.  He lives in Richburg, SC.  His home track is Lancaster Speedway and Carolina Speedway.

He started racing in 2001 in the Rookie 4 Class at Buffalo because he loved it.  Mike finished 2nd in the Points in 2003. 

The thrill of racing for Mike is the people you meet.  His most exciting racing moment was several 2nd place finishes.  He's most proud of being clean.

Mike's racing hero is Mark Martin.
