Mike Walker drives the #6 Limited Late Model Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunder Valley Speedway.  He lives in Staley, NC.

Team members helping Mike are: Fred, Frankie, Charley, Jimmy, Stan.

Mike started racing in 1986 in the Street Stock Class at Metrolina Speedway because he thought he could do better than the guys I was watching at the track.  His first win was in 1989 in the T&L Class at East Lincoln Speedway. Career highlights include East Lincoln's Track Champion in 2000.

The thrill of racing for Mike is going fast.  His most exciting racing moment was getting airborne at Phoenix City, Alabama off turn 1.

Mike's racing heroes ae Freddy Smith and Mark Martin.

Of racing, Mike says, "It's fun!".
