Austin Langenstein drives the #7 Open Wheel Modified Class car.  His ome track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at East Lincoln Speedway.  He lives in Concord, NC.

Austin started racing in '08 in the Bandolero Class at Lowes Motor Speedway because his family has been in racing their entire life and the racing bug was born in him!  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include multiple wins in Bandolero and Legends cars, Go Kart Championship for Road Course in '10, won in first start at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Rockingham Speedway, 9th place finish in '10 Legends Million Semi Pro race out of 89 cars.

The thrill of racing for Austin is the unknown.  His most exciting racing moment was for him every time he races because he loves it so much.  He's most proud of winning in every race car he's ever driven.

Austin's racing heroes are his Dad and Michael Schumacher.

Of racing, Austin says, "That it is more of a sport than the stick and ball sports because not only is it physically hard but it is also mentally hard!".
