Travis Caviness drives the #83 Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-77 Speedway.  He lives in Charlotte, NC.

Team members helping Travis are:  Steve Caviness - Dad, Chris Moshinskie (biggest sponsor), Keith Smith - Uncle, Chris Smith - brother.  Marcia Caviness is the car owner.

Travis started racing in 2006 in the Pure Stock 4 Class at Carolina Speedway because he'd watched his Dad and brother race and wanted a car of his own.  His first win was in '07 in the 4 Cylinder Class at Antioch Speedway.  Career highlights include finishing 2nd in Points at Carolina Speedway in '08, winning in two classes in the same night at I-77 Speedway in '07 at the Shrine Race.

The thrill of racing for Travis is winning and the speed and challenge in going for the win.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first race at Antioch Speedway.  He's most proud of finishing races and being at least in the Top 5 weekly.

Travis's racing heroes are his Dad and Dale Earnhardt Sr.
