Dillon Wood drives the #87 Crate Late Model Class car.  His home track is Volusia Speedway Park.  He lives in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Team members helping Dillon are:  Greg Word, Mom and Dad.  Todd Wood is the car owner.

Dillon started racing in 2006 in the Crate Late Model Class at Volusia Speedway Park because his Dad used to race.  Career highlights include SC State Championship in 2005 in Karts.

The thrill of racing for Dillon is the speed!  His most exciting racing moment was winning the SC State Championship in a Kart. 

Dillon's racing hero is Steve Francis.

Of racing, Dillon says, "It's harder than it looks, that's for sure!".
