Terry Hayes lives in Mooresville, N.C. His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lowe's and 311 Speedway.

He began racing in 2004 in Stock 4 at East Lincoln because he enjoyed helping a friend so decided to try it himself.

The thrill of racing for Terry is just going and having fun, he has made some good friends. His most exciting racing moment was the Firecracker Tour at Lowe's Motor Speedway Dirt Track.
