A. J. Cables lives in  Gastonia, N.C. His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing  at Gaffney.

He began racing in 2004  at Carolina Speedway in  Street Stock Class because it is in his blood.

The thrill of racing for  A. J.  is running with the other cars. He  is most proud of  getting into the race car  to drive and get experience.

His racing heroes are  The Earnhardts, Harry Dockery and Tony Stewart.

Of racing, A. J. says, "It's  great and fun to go racing with the other cars. I like to lean the car in the corner because it's fun. You should do it.".
