Michael "Keith" Pace

Michael "Keith" Pace drives the #K6 Street Stock Class car.  He lives in Bessemer, NC.  His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can be found racing at East Lincoln Speedway also.

He started racing in 1989 in the 4 Cyl Class at Carolina Speedway after going to his first race and deciding "I have to do that" ........two weeks later he was driving!  His first win was in 1999 in the Stock 8 Class at Carolina Speedway.  He had two wins in 2000 and 4th in the Points in 2001. 

The thrill of racing for Keith is the rush!  His most exciting racing moment was leading in a Shrine Race.  He's most proud of not giving up.

His grandpa is Keith's racing hero.

Of racing, Keith says, "Don't knock it til you try it....it's harder than it looks!".
