Andy "Dozer" Thompson

Andy "Dozer" Thompson drives the #21 Late Model Class car.  He lives in Gastonia, NC.  His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lancaster Speedway, Thunder Valley Speedway and Cherokee Speedway.

He started racing in 1985 at Carolina Speedway because it was a family sport.  His first win was in 1998 in the Thunder & Lightning Class at East Lincoln Speedway where he had 12 wins in a row. 

The thrill of racing for Dozer is not racing, but rather his love for Jesus!  His most exciting racing moment was the first time racing at Cherokee Speedway.  In 1999 he won every Heat race that he entered except 2. 

Of racing, Dozer says, "Win or crash, we don't care!".
