Jerry Dover

Jerry Dover drives the #56 Stock 4 Class car.  He lives in Concord, NC.  His home track is Cherokee Speedway but he can also be found racing at Carolina Speedway and Thunder Valley Speedway.

He started racing in 1976 in the 6 Cyl Class at Concord Speedway for stress relief!  He races for fun mostly but has had a few 2nd and 3rd place finishes. 

The thrill of racing for Jerry is that it is just a thrill factor.  His greatest racing thrill was watching his son become WKA National Champion in Karts. 

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is Jerry's racing hero.

Of racing, Jerry says, "No way, it had to be that other black car!".
