Aaron Threatt

Aaron Threatt drives the #7x Stock 8 Class car.  He lives in Gastonia, NC.  His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at Cherokee Speedway and Thunder Valley Speedway.

He started racing in 1998 in the Super Stock 8 Class at Carolina Speedway because he comes by it naturally with his family racing, while he was a child, at Lancaster Speedway.  His first win was in 2001 in the Super Stock 8 Class at Carolina Speedway.  His career highlight was to become a better driver.  Rooster Grant car #7 2002.  On September 20, 2002 won our first race at Carolina Speedway.  On Sept. 17th won his first race at Cherokee Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Aaron is making his wife Paula and her family happy.  Also, knowing that he has a front running car finally, means everything.  His most exciting racing moment is when he hit the wall at Carolina Speedway and could not get off of it.  He's most proud of his first race when he looked in the mirror and Rooster was there behind him.  Aaron knew he had it then.  Rooster has won almost every race at Carolina.
