Larry E Dunn II drives the D2 Limited Late Model Class car.  His home track is County Line Raceway but he can also be found racing at Clary's Speedway, Dublin Motor Speedway, Fayetteville Motor Speedway.  He lives in Newsome,VA.

Team members helping Larry are:  Steve, Bryce, Dad, Mom, Daniel, Pete, Eddie, Marty, Ryan, Josh.  Larry Dunn Motorsports is the car owner.

Larry started racing in 2005 in the Super Stock 4 class at Dixieland Speedway because his Dad raced and after starting in Go Karts, Larry eventually moved into cars.  It's in his blood.  His first win was in '06 in the Super Stock 4 class at Wayne County Speedway.  Career highlights include 30 Go Kart wins, 16 straight in an unsanctioned "run what you brung" format, 4 Cyl 1 win, 17 Heat wins, 20 Poles.

The thrill of racing for Larry is the competition and speed.  His most exciting racing moment was when he hit the wall head on at County Line Speedway and destroyed the front clip.  It was the wildest ride until it suddenly stopped!  He's most proud of always being competitive every where they go. 

Larry's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Larry says, "It's a lot harder than you think.  It's like a second job, but the competition and friendships made along the way is well worth it!".
