Steve Pearson drives the #42 Pure Stock V8 Class car.  His home track is Clary's Speedway but he can also be found racing at Wayne County Speedway and Dublin Motor Speedway.  He lives in Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Steve started racing in 1987 in the Pure Stock V8 at Brinkleyville Speedway because of his desire for competition and because his father was into racing.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Points Championship at Clary's Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Steve is the speed and competition.  His most exciting racing moment was seeing his son win his first race.  He's most proud of his Points Championship at Clary's Speedway.

Steve's racing hero is Mark Martin.
