Donnie Strength drives the #38 Thunder Roadster Class car. He lives in W. Columbia, S.C.

He started racing in 1991 in Go Karts, Jr. Sportsman at I-20 Speedway in Columbia, S.C. He started at the age of 10, just loved to race. His Dad had raced go karts and Donnie wanted to race too. This is his first year in a Thunder Roaster (2004). Career highlights include, Track Champion in super Stock- go karts at I-20 Speedway, won 3 Nationals in Super Stock and Limited Modified, 6 State wins, Stock Lite; Super Stock, and 1998 National Champion- Super Stock.

The thrills of racing for Donnie are the speed and the clean good sportsmanship. His most exciting racing moment was winning  the 1998 National Champion Super Stock - go karts. He is most proud of racing on a shoestring budget and beating the guys with more money and better equipment.

Donnie's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt Sr. ,Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Alan Kulwicki.

Of racing, Donnie say, "It's the greatest sport ever".
