Eric Harrington

Eric Harrington drives the #3 Mini Stock Class car.  He lives in Kanapolis, NC.  His home track is Concord Motorsports Park.

He started racing in 1981 in the Go-Kart Class at Millbridge Speedway because the family was involved in racing.  The late Herb Nob (uncle) was Crew Chief for various teams in the early '70's.  Robert Harrington (uncle) is still involved in the Nascar business.  Eric's first win was in 1981 in the Go-Kart class at Millbridge Speedway.  He's had over 100 World Karting Association Main Event wins, 4 Track Championships at Millbridge Speedway, and 2 Track Championships at Rowan County Fairgrounds.  In 2000 Eric competed in Mini Stock Dirt Division with 10 top 10's, and 1 win.  In 2003 Eric moved to the Mini Stock Division at Concord Motorsports Park.

The thrill of racing for Eric is the adrenaline rush of being behind the wheel. His most exciting racing moment was winning $1000 Dash 4 Cash at Two Flags Speedway.

Dale Earnhardt is Eric's racing hero.
