Kenny West drives the #43 Late Model Stock
Class car. He lives in Sherrills Ford, NC. His home track is
Concord Speedway but he can also be found racing at Caraway, Hickory and
Southern National Speedways.
He started racing in 1985 in the Go Kart
Class.

- Late Model Stock, Southern National Speedway. All top ten finishes 5th
in overall points; Best Sportsmanship Award 2001 - A.R.A. Touring Series,
Southern National Speedway and Coastal Plains Raceway 2000 - Late Model
Stock, A.R.A. Touring Series. Finished 8th in overall points
1999 - Late Model Stock, Hickory Motor Speedway. Finished 2nd
in overall points; 1 feature win 1998 - Continued to travel to a variety
of tracks in four states, learning to adapt as a driver and team to
different conditions each week. 1997 - Raced numerous tracks through out
the Carolinas, and Virginia, consistently a top finisher. 1996 - Moved
from Jacksonville, FL to Mooresville, NC. Numerous top ten finishes at
Tri-County, Orange County and Hickory Motor Speedway 1995 - Late Model
Stock events in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.
Finished season with two wins and all other finishes in the top 10 and
only 1 DNF 1994 - Competed in Winston Select Invitational, drove Outlaw
Mini Sprint on dirt; ran various other Late Model Stock events. 1993
- Raced various tracks in Florida, Top 10 in overall points at
Volusia County Speedway 1992
- Moved to Late Model Stock Division; finished 12th in
overall points with numerous top “5” and top “10’s”. 1991 - Nascar
Mini-Stock Division, Volusia County Speedway. 2nd in overall
points; Rookie of the year; Best Team Performance 1990 - Began
driving Nascar Mini – Stocks at age 16 Won first race after only the 4th
start.

1991 - Won the prestigious “ MARSHALL TEAGUE” Memorial Rookie
of the Year trophy.
1989 - WKA Manufacturer’s Cup National Championship; Florida Grand
Prix Asphalt Series State Champion; Driver of the year
1988 - Won the Florida Grand Prix Asphalt Series Championship; Also
Named Driver of the Year.
