Linda is from Concord NC.  She races mini stocks at her home track of Concord Motorsports Park.   Linda started racing in Demo-Derby at Pikes Peak Speedway, in 1974.

Linda started racing after being told she could not do it because she was female.  She got her first win in 1976 in a Figure 8 at Pikes Peak Speedway. 

Linda became the first woman to win a Main event against men in the state of Colorado.  She was also the first woman to win a race against men at Concord  Motorsport Park.

The thrill of racing for Linda is winning and the competition of close racing . She is most proud of her "stick-to-it-tivness  against all odds for so many years.

Mark Martin, Lynn St. James Shirley Muldowney are her racing heroes.
