Mark Dyer
#60
Mark started racing in 2000 in the
Mini stock class out at Concord Motor Speedway. Concord is his home track.
Mark owns A.S.A.P (American Signs and Printing) in Harrisburg. He loves to
races and loves animals as well and has been known to rescue a few.
His first win was at the Concord
track in the Mini stock Class in 2001. He also finshed 5th in
points in 2000, and 4th in 2001. He had 3 consecutive wins in
2002 and finished in the top 5 20 out of 24 races in 2002. Mark was
involved in the tightest points races ever in the history of Concord Motor
Speedway. Mark will be racing in the Limited Stock division starting in
2003.
When I asked Mark what the thrill
of racing was for him, he said that he loves the competition. Everybody
has the same rules. Being consistent and the rush of one lap to go and
getting to victory lane are some of the best feeling there are.
He is most proud of almost winning
the championship his third year in racing. This is a huge accomplishment.
He is also proud of being consistent and being in the top five in points
both years he has been racing.
Mark would like to thank the
following people for helping him. Brother Bob, Jeff, Justin Dyer, Jeremy,
Kyla, David Miller, Steve Irvin, Wes, Ronnie Kiker, Cheesburger, The
Thomas’s, Mom – Jan Dyer
Mark’s racing hero is Richard Petty
