Clint Almquist

Clint Almquist drives the #8 Limited Stock Class car.  He lives in Cornelious, NC.  His home track is Blythe Speedway but he can also be found racing at Irwindale and Concord Motorsports Park.

He started racing in 1996 in the Pure Stock Class at Blythe Speedway following in his father's footsteps.  His first win was in 1996 in the Pure Stock class at Blythe.  In 1996 Clint was Rookie of the Year at Blythe Speedway in the Pure Stock Class.  In 1997 Clint was Track Champion  in Hobby Stock at Blythe Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Clint is the close competition and the pressure.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win.  He's most proud of his Track Championship and his crew.

Robby Gordon is Clint's racing hero.

Of racing, Clint says, "It's harder than it looks, but it's a lot of fun!".
