Rodney Harrington

Rodney Harrington drives the #8 Mini Stock Class car.  He lives in china Grove, NC.  His home track is Concord Motorsport Park.

He started racing in the '80's in the Go-Karts at Millbridge Speedway because his family has been involved in racing.  The late Herby Nab (uncle) Crew Chief for various race teams in the early '70's.  Uncle Robert Harrington still involved in Nascar business.  Rodney's first win was in Go-Karts at Millbridge Speedway.  He has had over 100 WKA wins and 2 Track Championships (Go-Karts).  In 2002 Rodney became the owner of a Mini
Stock (Harrington car #8 driven by David Penell).  In 2003 he began racing #8 Mini Stock at Concord winning the 1st race of the season! 

His most exciting racing moment was winning at Concord Motorsport Park in the 1st race and the 1st time in a race car!

Dale Earnhardt is Rodney's racing hero.
