Steve started racing in 1988. He started in the Enduro division and has been around in racing most of his life with his family, since his dad used to race. His home track is Concord Motor Speedway.

He got his first win in 2002 in the Street Stock division at Concord Motor Speedway. The thrill of racing for Steve is coming down the dog stretch and you got it flat footed to see who has it and who doesn’t and having fun. His career highlight is this past year when he put his car together and has become consistent.

Steve is most proud of the win he got last year. This was the last race of the year at Concord. He was only able to race half the season last year and still finished 6^th in the points.

Steve’s racing hero is Fredy Smith and he can often be heard saying “I’m Done” when around the race track.
