Eddie Massengill

Eddie
Massengill drives the #10 Super Late Model Class car. He lives in
Goldsboro, N.C. His home track is Concord Motorsports Park, but he can
also be found racing at Nashville, Pensacola, SNS, WCS and ECMS.
He started
racing in 1983 in the Sportsman Class in Wilson, NC. because his family was involved with racing. Eddie got
his first win in 1984 in the Sportsman class in Wilson.
Some of Eddie’s
career highlights are that he won the Big 10 Championship in 1996 and 2003, he was
Rookie of the year in 1995, and was Track Champion at Wilson, County Line,
and Wayne County.
The thrill of
racing for Eddie is the competition. His most exciting racing moment was
racing at Nashville, Tenn. He is most proud of all of the friends and
family.
Eddie's racing hero
is Dale Earnhardt.
Of racing, Eddie
says, "If it's not fun, it's not racing".
Dale Earnhardt Sr.
is Eddie’s racing hero and he can often be heard saying “That’s racing’”
when around the race track.
