Roy Maness

Roy Maness drives the #2 Mini Stock Class car.  He lives in Star, NC.  His home track is Concord Motorsport Park.

He started racing in 1995 in the Mini Stock Class at Concord Motorsport Park because the family loves it.  Starting in Go-Karts both Roy and his wife enjoy it.  His first win was in 1995 in the Mini Stock Class at Concord.  Roy has won 55 races at Concord, was the 2002 Track Champion and 2 wins thus far in 2003.

The thrill of racing for Roy is  the speed and being competitive.  He's most proud that what he has accomplished he's done by himself because he couldn't afford to pay outside help to do it for him.

Of racing, Roy says, "Get in it early in life!".
