Derek Dudney drives the #14 Pure Stock Class car.  His home track is Dublin Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Carolina Speedway Lakeview, Fayetteville Speedway and Sumter Speedway.  He lives in Lumberton, NC.

Team members helping Derek are:  Doodle Hucks, Moe Joe and Willie Dudney.  Derek Dudney, Johnny Nobles and Vance Pittman are the car owners.

Derek started racing in 2000 in the Pure Street Stock Class at Fayetteville Speedway because his Father raced when he was young and he's always wanted to go fast.  Career highlights include finishing 5th in the Points at Carolina Speedway Lakeview in 2002. 

The thrill of racing for Derek is going fast and the need for speed.  His most exciting racing moment was finishing 2nd at Carolina Speedway Lakeview for the first time.  He's most proud of finishing 5th in the Points at Carolina Speedway Lakeview.

Derek's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
