Shane Bennett drives the #22 Super Late Model Class car.  His home track is Dublin Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Fayetteville Speedway, and Sumter Speedway.  He lives in Lumberton, NC.

Team members helping Shane are:  Father, Andy Bennett, Zac & Timmy Cox and Frank Page.  Andy and Shane Bennett are the car owners.

Shane started racing in 2000 in the Super Street Stock Class at Carolina Speedway Lakeview because he just thought racing would be a fun sport.  This is his Rookie season in Late Models.

The thrill of racing for Shane is the rush you get having the car sideways going through the turns.  His most exciting racing moment was when he finished 2nd and 3rd in the Super Street Stock racing at Carolina Speedway Lakeview.  He's looking forward to a great 2006 season.

Shane's racing hero is Jeff Gordon.

Of racing, Shane says, "Racing is a great competitive sport that is only getting larger.  Dirt Track racing is something everyone should try at least once!".
