Gary Long drives the #6 Open Wheel Class car.  His home track is Dublin Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Fayetteville Motor Speedway.  He lives in Ocean Isle, NC.

Team members helping Gary are:  Alan Russ and David Buffin.

Gary started racing in 1964 in the Rookie Class at Leland because he liked to play with cars.  His first win was in 1965 in the Modified Class at Leland Speedway.  Career highlights include 1968 Penden County Speedway Track Champion in Modified. 

The thrill of racing for Gary is to enjoy friendships made.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win.  He's most proud of still racing after 32 years.

Gary's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
