Jason is from Lincolnton NC. He began racing at age 16, at Woodhull Race way in  in New York. He wonly raced 1 year before moving south. In 1998 he started racing again in the Thunder adn lighting division at East Lincoln Motor Speedway.

 He got his first win in a IMCA modified in 2001 at East Lincoln, and went on to win teh East Lincoln track championship.  Even after the thrill of winning the track championship, he ranks his greatest career highlight as the IMCA Super Nationals at  Boone Ia. "Just going to is a highlight."
