Glenn Howard drives the #1H Pure Stock
Class car. His home track is Fayetteville Motor Speedway but he
can also be found racing at Wayne County Speedway. He lives in
Ricky Shook helps Glenn with his car.
Glenn started racing in 1997 in the Pure
Stock Class at Fayetteville Motor Speedway because he'd always wanted to
from the time he was a little kid. His first win was in 1999 in
the Pure Stock Class at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. Career
highlights include 20 wins.
The thrill of racing for Glenn is
driving on the edge. His most exciting racing moment was winning
the 2001 Pete Fan Memorial Race in Super Street Stock at Fayetteville
Motor Speedway and winning the 2004 Pure Stock All Star Challenge race
at Wayne County from starting last. He is most proud of being able
to build, work on and drive the car.
Glenn's racing hero is his Father, Mack
Of racing, Glenn says, "It takes a lot
