David Taylor

David Taylor drives the #14 Super Late Model Class car.  He lives in Fayetteville, NC.  His home track is Dublin Motor Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Clarys and Wayne County Speedway.

Team members helping David are:  Jonathan, Brian, Glenn, Allen, Jordan and Angela.

He started racing in 1978 in the 6 Cyl Class at Fayetteville Motor Speedway after starting, as a kid, in Go Carts and the fact that he just loves racing.  His first win was in 1979 in the 6 Cyl class at FMSP.  Career highlights include 1986 Late Model Championship, 3  UMP Open Wheel Championships in 1995, '98 and '99, Carolina Clash  Rookie of the Year 2001, Feature wins at FMSP, Clarys, Lakeview, County Line, Dublin, WCS, Hartsville, Myrtle Beach, Florence Speedway and I-77 Speedway.

The thrill of racing for David is the speed and control!  His most exciting racing moment was 14 Feature wins in one year.  He's most proud of his success and being able to grow with the sport.
