Monte Podewil drives the #17 Pure Stock Class car.  He lives in Fayetteville, NC.  His home track is Fayetteville Motorsports Park but he can also be found racing at Lakeview, SC.

Monte's #17 is the white and red Chevy Z-28 Camaro, 350 c.i.

He started racing in 2000 in the Enduro class at Fayetteville because he liked it! It is in his blood.  His first win was in 2000 in the Enduro Class.

The thrill of racing for Monte is when you are out there you don't think about nothing.  When they drop the green flag, it's nothing but what's out in front. Its a BIG rush when they drop the green flag.

Monte is proud of his first win and other wins and of being consistent and finishing the race
