Shaun Harrell drives the # 3s Late Model Class car.  He lives in Raeford, NC.  His home track is Fayetteville Motorsports Park but  he can also be found racing at Carolina Speedway, and Wayne County.

He started racing in 1996 in the Super Street Class at Fayetteville because it looked like fun.  His first win was in 1999 in the Super Street Class at Fayetteville.  Highlights include 3rd in Points in 2000, 4th in Points in 2001, Track Champion in 2002 with 8 straight wins, 9 total.  Shawn switched to Late Models and has wins at Fayetteville and Dublin.

The thrill of racing for Shaun is the rush you get racing side by side and the speed!  His most exhilarating racing moment was winning his first race in 1999.  He's most proud of his Track Championship last year.

Of racing, Shaun says, "It's one of the greatest sports there is!"
