Timmy Cox drives the #98 Late Model Class car.  He lives in Lumberton, NC.  His home track is Fayetteville Motorsports Park but he can also be found racing at Wayne County Speedway, and Sumter Speedway.

Timmy's #98 is the red, white and blue Ford Taurus/Mustang, Rocket Chassis, Taylor Race Engine.

He started racing in 1998 in the Late Model Class at Lakeview and Fayetteville because he wanted a challenging hobby.  His career highlights include making the Carolina Clash Race on first attempt at Fayetteville Motorsports Park finishing 14th out of 30.

The thrill of racing for Timmy is the fact that racing was passed from his father to him and now from Timmy to his son.
