Andy Floyd drives the #G23 Open Wheel Modified Class car.  His home track is Fayetteville Motor Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Dublin Motor Speedway.  He lives in Nass, NC.

Team members helping Andy are:  Herman Hennings, Larry Smith, Thomas Hennings, Danny Hennings, Clay Hennings, Matthew Hennings, Marty DeZalia, Terry Hersey.  Herman Hennings is the car owner.

Andy started racing in 1994 in the Pure Stock Class at Fayetteville Motor Speedway because he grew up around it and always loved it.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include winning 8 races consecutively and winning 9 races in front of Hava Tampa crowd, now known as Lucas Oil Series.

The thrill of racing for Andy is putting on a good show for the fans and seeing a smile on your crew's faces.  His most exciting racing moment was coming from 26th at Lowes Motor Speedway in an Open Wheel to 4th, twice before they cut the race short.  He's most proud of having his wife and son support him in what he loves to do (it's just a hobby, you know)!.

Andy's favorite racing hero was Dale, now he just follows the dirt drivers.
