Jonathon races out of Hudson NC. Hickory Motor Speedway is his home track and he also races at  Tri County Speedway.

He began racing in 2001 in a street stock at Hickory.  He started racing because it was a "family thing."  He got his first win on July 7, 2002 in a Street Stock at Hickory Motor Speedway.  Jonathon ran 2nd in the points his first full season and had 2 wins.
