Tanner Swanson drives the #17 600cc Sprint Class car and the #17 Modified Class car.  His home track is Madera Speedway.  He lives in Kingsburg, CA.

Tanner started racing in 2000 in the Junior Sprint Class at Plaza Park Raceway after watching his Dad race.  His first win was in 2001 in the Junior Sprint Class at Plaza Park Raceway.  Career highlights include 35 Feature wins, 2002 Restricted 600 Champion and Rookie of the Year, 2006 Multi 600 Champion and MST Champion and Rookie of the Year.

Tanner's most exciting racing moment was winning his first ever IMCA Modified start.  He's most proud of just being able to drive and not having to watch from the stands.

Tanner's racing heroes are Tony Stewart, Dave Steele and Josh Wise.
