Lee Blackwell drives the #42 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Greenville Pickens Motor  Speedway.  But he can also be found racing at Tri County Speedway and Hickory Motor Speedway.  He lives in Cowpens, SC.

Team members helping Lee are:  Rodney White, Larry Elliott, Ray Broome.  Ken Blackwell is the car owner.

Lee started racing in 1992 in the Go Karts Class at Southern Pride Raceway because he wanted to give it a try.  His first win was in 1992 in the Beginner Class at Southern Pride Raceway.  Career highlights include 1992 Beginners Champion-Buck Creek & Southern Pride Raceways, 1993 Rookie Champion- Buck Creek & Southern Pride Raceways, 1994 Rookie 2 Champion - Carolina/Georgia Clash Champion at Georgia Karting Komplex and Southern Pride, 1997 Juniors Champion - Buck Creek Speedway, 2002 Riverside Kartway Overall Champion.

The thrill of racing for Lee is winning.  His most exciting racing moment was finishing in 2nd place at WKA Daytona Dirt National Championships.  He's most proud of 250 Karting wins.

Lee's racing hero is Richard Petty.
