Dallas lives in Troutman, N.C. His home track is Hickory Motor Speedway.

He began racing in Late model Class  at Hickory in 2002 because he had race din High School, after that he went into the Army for 3 years, started a business then returned to racing. His first win was in 1993 in 6 Cyl. Class at Friendship Speedway (Dirt). Career highlights include Run Top 10 every track he raced at. He is still striving or that first win.

The thrill of racing for Dallas is that it is very competitive. His most exciting racing moment was when he was leading the very first race he ever ran at the New Friendship Speedway, (asphalt now), in a Late Model. He is most proud of owning, building and financing his own car and team.

His racing hero is Greg Marlow.

Of racing, Dallas says, "It's definitely a humbling deal".
