Chris Chapman lives in Taylorsville, N.C. His home track is Hickory Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Tri-County Speedway.

He began racing in 1996 in Stock 4 at Southern Thunder Speedway because his family was racers. His first win was in 1997 in Stock 4 at the same track. Career highlights include, 2004  to this point (Aug. 2004), 3 Poles, 1 win, 3rd in Points, 12 out of the lead.

The thrill of racing for Chris is winning. "I like to race". His most exciting racing moment was winning his first race. He is most proud of winning.

His racing heroes are Dave Marcis, Jimmy Means and Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Chris says, "Enjoy racing all you can and go as much as you can".
