Jamie is from Newton NC. Hickory Motor Speedway is his home track but he races Tri County Martinsville Speedway and Myrtle Beach.

Jamie began racing in 1989 in Moto Cross at Cathy's Creek . He began racing because he Luv's racing. He got his first win his Rookie year.  He was the 250b and the 500b MotoCross National Champion.  The won the NC, VA, SC, WVA, FL, GA, and TN State Champions.    Jamie has had 3 Championships in the Legends cars and over 65 wins. 

Jamie won the 2001 Late Model Track Championship at Tri-County Speedway,  in his second year racing Late Models.  In 2001 he was voted the Most Popular Driver at Hickory Motor Speedway. 

Jamie won an ARE  National televised race, won the pole and led all 125 laps.

Winning is the thrill of racing for Jamie.  His greatest racing thrill was having a  bounty places on his head after he won 5 races in a row.  He is proud of winning races.

Dale Earnhardt is his racing hero.
