Jennifer McMurray

Jennifer McMurray drives the #24 Late Model Super Truck and Late Model Stock car.  She lives in Rutherfordton, NC.  Her home track is Hickory Motor Speedway but she can also be found racing at Tri County Speedway.

She started racing in 1996 in the Go-Karts at the Buckcreek Speedway after going to a Go-Kart race to watch, her Dad asked her if she would like to do that and Jennifer said yes.  Her first win was in 1997 in the Go-karts at Buckcreek Speedway.  Career highlights include:  Go-Karts - 1999 Blue Plate Champion (Jr. Sportsman II), Jr. Restricted Champion and Jr. Stock Champion 2001 at Riverside Kartway, Jr. Sportsman I 1997 Buckcreek Speedway, she won the Thanksgiving Thunder 2000 at Georgia Karting complex, and she won the State Race in Jr. Stock Division at Riverside Kartway.

The thrill of racing for Jennifer is that she enjoys the speed, the adrenaline rush and it is fun to (sometimes) beat the boys.  She's most proud of winning her Championships in Go-Karts, winning all of her races in Go-Karts and being able to be competitive.

Jeff Gordon and Shane Huffman are Jennifer's racing heroes.

Of racing, Jennifer says, "That I hope to be racing Winston Cup by the time I'm 20!".
