Stephen Ford drives the #86 Kart/Purple Plate Class car.  His home track is Johnston County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Riverside Speedway and Southern Pitt.  He lives in Willow Spring, NC.

Team members helping Stephen are:  Daddy, Mama, Jessica, Mason and Devin.  Ford Brothers Motorsports is the car owner.

Stephen started racing in 2004 in the Kid Kart Class at Johnston County Speedway because he likes to go fast!  His first win was in April of 2004 in the Kid Kart Class at Johnston County Speedway.  Career highlights include 2004 Johnston County Kid Kart Champion, 2005 3rd place finish in Points in Beginner Purple at JCS, 3rd place finish in Points at Highway 24 Raceway in Purple Plate and 2005 5th place finish in Points at JCS in Burris National Series. 

The thrill of racing for Stephen is to win!  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first Purple Place race at Richlands.  He's most proud of his 2004 Kid Kart Championship.

Stephen's racing heroes are his Granddaddy Charlie, his Daddy and his Uncle Matt.
