Daryl started racing in 1996 in the
Spectator or Pure Stock Class at Sycamore Speedway because he grew up
racing and loves anything that goes fast. His first win was in
that same year. Career highlights include finishing 10th in the
Points at East Lincoln Speedway after only racing once and
finishing 3rd over 20 cars in Points standings.
The thrill of racing for Daryl is
sliding sideways. His most exciting racing moment was taking the
lead and winning on last lap coming out of turn 4 and rolling my car on
front straight. He's most proud of being able to be competitive in
every race which is surprising because he has little money to spend
passing rich guy's cars.

Of racing, Daryl says, "It is a lot of
hard work and time but it's worth it when you win!".
