Benji Griffin drives the #13 Stock 4 Class car. He lives in Pickens, S. C. His home track is  Riverside Speedway  in Travelers Rest, S. C. He can also be found racing at Gaffney, Harris  and Thunder Valley Speedways.

He started racing in1997 in Rookie 4 at Riverside Speedway because he had always been around it. His first win was in 1997 in Rookie Class at Riverside. Highlights include, 2001-Windy Hill Stock 4 Champion, 2000-Rookie 4 National Winner at Thunder Valley, 2003-Riverside Stock 4 Champion, and 29 Career Wins. The thrill of racing for  Benji is the speed and close racing. The most exciting racing moment for  Benji was winning the Thunder Valley Rookie 4 Nationals. He is most proud of the Championships.

Benji's racing hero is Mark Martin.

Of racing, Benji says, " It's something you have to love to do. It's very costly, just have fun and enjoy yourself, don't get in it for the money."
