Chris Johnson drives the #5 Mini Stock Class car. He lives in Rincon, Georgia. His home track is Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Sav. Ga.

He started racing in 1996 in Mini Stock Class at Oglethorpe Speedway, for the fun of it. his first win was in 1997 in Mini Stock at same track. Career highlights include  1999-Runner Up, 2000- Runner Up and many Time Wins.

The thrill of racing for Chris is passing cars. His most exciting  racing moment was his first win. He is most proud of  "just being able to enjoy it and learn about racing".

His racing hero is Darrell Waltrip.
